ASF New Documents INTERNATIONAL SAKHAROV CONFERENCE: Forty Years after Andrei Sakharov’s 1968 Essay, Reflections on Progress, Peaceful Coexistence and Intellectual Freedom: Russia Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow A Harvard University Conference celebrating the 40th anniversary of Andrei Sakharov’s 1968 essay Reflections on Progress, Peaceful Coexistence, and Intellectual Freedom was held on October 24-25, 2008, at the Norton’s Woods Conference Center, Cambridge, Mass. The Conference was organized by the Davis Center’s Sakharov Program on Human Rights, the Physics Department, and the Andrei Sakharov Foundation (USA). .
